I’m a creator. This page exists because the lawyers and the algorithms demand transparency. Here is how your digital fingerprint is handled when you step into my corner of the internet.
When you grab a zine or a course, I see your Name and your Email. That’s it. I need those to make sure the goods actually reach your inbox. If you sign up for the newsletter, you're opting into my frequency. You can tune out (unsubscribe) at any time.
I use Gumroad to process payments. This means I never see your credit card number. I don't want that responsibility and I don't want that data. Gumroad keeps that in a digital bunker that is way more secure than anything I could build. Their privacy policy applies to the actual transaction, and you can find that right here.
I use basic analytics to see if people are actually digging the site or if I'm just screaming into the void. This involves "cookies"—tiny bits of data that tell me things like "Someone from California clicked the red button." It doesn't tell me who you are, what you ate for breakfast, or your deepest secrets (as much as I'd like to know!). You can block cookies in your browser settings if you want to remain a totally private.
I DO NOT care about your data, selling it to third-party creeps, ad-networks, or data brokers (fuckers). Your info stays with me and the tools I use to run this shop (aka Gumroad). The only time I’d ever hand over data is if a literal subpoena showed up at my door, and even then, I’d be annoyed about it.
If you want me to scrub your email from my list or delete your order history from my view, just send me an email. You own your digital info; I’m just hosting a small part of it for a while cuz that's how anyting on the internet works
